For Anyone Who Wants A Great Curry In A Hurry
Al’s Instant Base Gravy recipe is fantastic if you want to quickly get a curry going! It’s easy to use, and gives fabulous results. 
 
Just add 2 to 3 heaped tablespoon of the mix to your pan, add water and slowly bring to a simmer, stiring constantly.  If you haven't added enough water to get the consistency that you want, simply add a little more.
 
Once you have the correct consistency simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes allowing the spice mix to cook through, make sure to stir whislt cooking.
 
This base gravy will be the foundation of any curry that you might want to make, so get creative!
 
For the purists out there. This is in no way designed to replace the original Base Gravy recipes that people love to cook. It is designed to use if you have not got any in the freezer or just can't be bothered - Its for a great curry in a hurry !
