Ingredients
500g Meat of choice, beef or lamb are perfect for this dish
5 tsp Veg Oil
1 Onion Finely chopped
5 tsp white wine vinegar
1 Can Chopped Tomatoes
2 - 3 tbls Spicy Joes Vindaloo Spice Blend
Garlic Ginger Paste
Basmati Rice or Naan Bread
Cooking Instructions
Vindaloo Paste
1 Heat the oil, fry onion on med heat until browned.
2 Drain excess oil, mix with the vindaloo spice mix & white wine vinegar to form a paste
Main Dish
1. Add the ginger/garlic paste to the pan and cook for a few minutes while stirring.
2. If you like it extra hot add chilli now
3. Add yo ur meat
4 Add the vindaloo paste to the meat. Mix well until everything is coated in sauce.
5 Add tomatoes Bring to boil, simmer for 1 hr, stirring occasionally.
6 Boil rice for 15 minutes and heat naan under grill
7 Serve and enjoy while warm
